MC HL cable in Class 1 Div 1

Situation: In a Class 1 Div 1 Area, Motors conected with MC HL cable going to motor control cabinet out side in nonhazardous area about 30' away, no junction boxes. I am sure a boubdary seal is required but is a seal required at the motors?
 
Actually, it is just the opposite. Unless for some reason, you are running the cable through conduit at the boundary, you only need to seal the cable at the motor. See 501.15(D), especially 501.15(D)(2).

Where only MC-HL is used, only the cable ends need to be sealed; in fact only the cable end in the Division 1 location needs to be sealed.
