I have a situation where I have multiple rooms constructed within 1 huge room. The walls of these multiple rooms stop about 4-5' short of reaching the ceiling height.
How would you leave the top plate of the walls with your circuits to reach the ceiling?

If it's gonna be visible then I would run EMT. JMO.

go to the existing walls that go to the ceiling and fish up the 4 or 5' to the attic if there is one

No attic. Taking my circuits to the outside wall may look better, but I think in this case the material cost would be too much. I will look it over again tomorrow.

I was Just curious. The walls having open bays at the top will not meet the NFPA 220 (15) minute fire rating if you planned on using NM, but if you're using MC, you don't have to worry about it.

I would go with EMT also. It can always be painted afterwards to make it blend in with the room.
