I would reach out to ETL and report this. This does not comply with the UL standards for this type of equipment. Is the ETL sticker even legit? Note where it is from. Of course you can calculate this but that is not the point.
My customer sent me link to the model. It only stated to go by the nameplate. I told him I couldn't figure anything until I saw the nameplate. He received the unit and took a picture of the nameplate and sent it to me. I haven't physically seen the unit yet.
I know I can be safe and just use conductors that match the breaker, but I would like to know what the actual MCA is.
I agree that the label does not meet listing requirements. I would contact etl and ask them about it. Given where it came from the label could be fake.
