MCC as raceway

Does anyone know the code section that prohibits the use of using a MCC as a raceway? Want to pass wiring through the bottom chase section into a 208V panel mounted on the other side of the MCC.

The wiring compartments of a MCC structure are 'listed' as wireways.

430.97(A), unless your conductors are run horizontally only (sounds like they might be), and the conductors are isolated from the busbars by a barrier (easy enough).
