We have a 480 volt MCC configured in a U shape. The corner sections are at 45 degrees, which the bus bars extend horizontally through. The electrical contractor has installed conduits in the slab that stub into this 45 section.
When he pulls the wires , the bus bars are exposed to the conduits and wires.
I have stated that he needs to install a barrier around the bus bars to comply with 1999 nec article 384-3, A3, 384-10.
There are no terminations in this 45 degree section.
