Hi everyone,
Please clear up something for me.
We are ordering a mcc with 20 buckets for a new addition to the plant.
We have always placed a disconnect at the motor, but for this install, we will not be using the disconnects at the motors. The engineer says that the electric code allows us to lock out the mcc bucket.
the mcc is in one room and the motors are up to several hunderd feet away.
I understand the lock out tag out, but what about the within sight rule.
