I had a problem with McCormick Systems Estimating and called McCormick to fix problem. McCormick would not help me unless I agree to one year support @ $650. I had I bid that I was working on and could not finalize. I offered to pay for the time it would take to fix problem. McCormick Systems would not work with me that way. I went ahead with the year support. The problem took 20 minutes to fix. I ask all contractors is this anyway to treat customers. McComick caused me a lot of duress over this and I would not want to see anyone else go thur the same.

$650 support is not the issue. Support includes upgrades as well as working on problems. If I want to continue with McCormick, then support would be something to have. I just want the problem with my current system worked on.

I had it for a few years, the support was good until I got a problem one time then had to reformat my hard drive because of some advice from a McCormick tech. The people really are nice and responsive, the software on the other hand is buggy, I traded to another Conest after that. The software seems to flow better than Mccormick. It feels more like a true windows based software than a DOS based program. Also the yearly support is $350, which seems reasonable to me.
