Large apartment complex. Receptacle not on plans, but unsure if required in Water Heater Closet. Closets are accessed from hallway outside, but adjacent to units. Two adjacent units share a closet with two Water Heaters.
There are receptacles spaced in the hallway, but am unsure if they are within 25ft (look to be, but haven't measured). Also unsure if this would be considered same "area" as equipment. Also unsure if Water Heaters need a service receptacle. Have read different things, even on this forum.
Any insight would be appreciated
