I have a question on sizing gloves. I know that you measure around the hand where the fingers meet the palm but..I get different measurements if the hand is on a table or if holding the hand out.
I need to order several sets of gloves and protectors for a dozen or so electricians and want to get the order right the first time.
I would be interested in tapping the experience of those out there that have been doing this for awhile.
Thanks.

Have the vendor send you a sample of all sizes and then have your employees choose the size themselves. It works much better if they fit themselves.

If these gloves are for PPE, you're more efficient with the smaller measurement (fingers together). It's frustrating using gloves even a 1/2 size too large. You feel like you're wearing "clown shoes", except they are gloves in this case. A snug fit is very nice. Ordering the cotton liners for the inside of the rubber gloves is a nice gesture also, as sweat will pour out of the rubbers in the summertime without them. (that's three layers, if you're counting. liner, rubber, leather protector)
