Conduit Radius
Conduit Radius
Conduit radius is measured from the center of the circle to the centerline of the conduit. By measuring conduits to their centerline, the conduit wall (sch40 vs sch80) for example is accounted for when minimum bending requirements are determined. Conductor bending radius is determined based on the diameter of the conductor so you have an imaginary circle and the conductor bend follows the inside edge of the radius measured from the center of the imaginary circle.
