mechanical equipment power issues on 480V grounded B

on recent projects, concerns have been raised by equipment manufacturers and/or contractors that their equipment has experienced issues with drives, etc when connected to a 480V grounded B delta rather than 277/480V system. It seems to me that it shouldn't matter. I'm reaching out to see what others have experienced or encountered. Has anyone installed a 480D - 480/277Y transformer due to this issue?

It is not uncommon to find these types of devices with internal filters that are connected Line-Ground in a Wye configuration. For most situations the only solution is an isolation transformer.
