Mechanical lug in panel for neutral feed through?

I'm installing a Leviton Meter Combo, LP820-RMC. This 200 amp panel has feed through lugs that I'm using to feed an indoor 200 amp panel with 4/0 SER that's about 25' away. The issue I'm having is that the Neutral feed though that's provided with this panel will accept 2/0 and my neutral conductor is 4/0. I've looked at getting an offset pin reducer/pin terminal but those are really hard to come by in this size. I don't need 4/0 for my neutral - but that's what's available with the SER.

Can I use a double port mechanical lug that I attach to the panel?

I would use 2/0 Cu from the panels include feed through lug to one port on the mechanical lug and then use the other port (or whatever they're called) for the 4/0 Al that goes to the sub panel.

Does this sound like a good plan? I've looked, and looked and looked for a 4/0 lug kit that has side entry (because there's no enough space for proper wire bend radius otherwise) and I can't find anyone that has anything in stock.

Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forum. Is it possible to change the lug on the panel. The ones I have seen are just screwed into the neutral bar accessible by removing the screw that tights on the wire.

I wish that was the case with this panel. But the only 4/0 lugs that I can find (available) that attach to the buss have a vertical opening. And with this panel that puts the wire in the way of installing the breakers. And the lug kits that I can find only accept 2/0. I called Leviton and they said that I should have ordered a different panel. Right now, with the supply issues, it took me quite sometime to find a 200 meter main panel and most were very over priced so I jumped on this one when it became available. First Leviton panel - nice panel but lacking on available accessories.
