517.30-(C)-(3) requires the wiring of emergency systems to be mechanically protected.

I am working on the wiring ceiling mounted pendant, having several socket outlets (critical an life-safety)
Wat type of mechanical protection is acceptable?

It must be flexible because of the moving parts. therefore option 3d seems the way to go, but is states "flexible connection to equipment" while the wires run inside the pendant, so i am having serous doubts....

If I understand you question correctly, you should be fine using 3d. equipment is broad, so you can use that if it is necessary.
