What Reference Material tells an electrical contractor what wiring and conduit methods should be used for a hospital and/or limited care facility installation?
I know I have read them once but cannot seem to locate them again.

Article 517 of the NEC and NFPA 99 especially chapter 4.

I apologize-I will provide more detail to the question
Med Gas Monitoring requires min 2 master panels- these master panels are required to be directly wired to the monitoring switch(s)-(the 2 panels are actually wired to the same switch and potentially the same set of contacts)
the issue I am trying to resolve is the while the code does require seperate cables from the switch(s) to the master panels, Am I required to run them in seperate conduits?

from the med gas manifolds to the two master panels follow the same path for approx 80% of the total run. Even in level one med gas systems, I do not see the requirement or even the recommendation.

Am I missing something or is the person requesting the installation applying the wiring requirement to the conduit also?

thank you for your assistance.

chapter 5 of NFPA 99
