I have suite that provide ketamine therapy via nasal spray. No patients are sedated and are fully capable of exiting the space on their own in the event of emergency. No procedure involving medical equipment are performed involving medical equipment.

Would the space require medical grade wiring ir not?

"Part II shall apply to patient care spaces of all health care facilities."

A note below that indicates the governing body determines which spaces are patient care spaces. So if the governing body decides there are patient care spaces, Part II will apply.

And I would think your AHJ might also have some say in what would be required.

A quick search of "ketamine therapy via nasal spray" indicates it must be administered by health care professionals in a health care setting, and recipients must be monitored after administration. That could include monitoring vitals, which means patients could possibly be connected to patient care electrical devices.

So I would say might possibly be required.
