Hello group,
I have a question. We are building a pump house and it is being fed 13.8kV to a pad mount switch. The GC is installing a fence around the entire pump yard and the fence is within 3' of my switch. I have looked through the forum and I believe the minimum distance the fence could be is 6'. To add to this there is a rock wall that goes within 2.5' on the same side we open the switch to get to the dead breaks. Do you guys have any input on the clearance of this switch?
