Was hoping someone with more experience than me would be able to correlate some megger readings on a 1400' LF pull of 1/0 25kV 260 mils aluminum conductor with copper concentric neutral. 2 phases megged out at about 20G-Ohms with a 5kV megger while the 3rd phase megged out at only 8G-ohms. We will be installing the load breaks and then hipot at 60kV for final acceptance but wanted to get an idea of what is too low of a megger reading at 5kV and whether I need to start thinking about changing out the cable.
