Megger Test Standard

Is there a megger test standard? If somone wants to call for an electrician to test wires insulation where they may or may not have been exposed to damage, is there a testing standard that the electrician should go by?
"Electrician shall test wiring as per IEEE ???" or somthing along those lines.

Electrician shall employ the services of testing agency that is a Full member of The InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) to perform an insulation-resistance test utilizing a megohmmeter. Testing shall conform to the lastest version of the NETA Maintenance Testing Specifications.
