Not sure where to put this I just wan to wish a Merry Christmas to all!
I know what you mean.
It's an electrical forum and there is, now and again, a bit of social interaction between members.
But none of it has a home.
Mods, if you see this, I think there is a case for a "Talk About Anything" or "General Chat" that doesn't quite fit anywhere else.
Like members wanting to post a general Merry Christmas, Happy Thanksgiving, Easter, St Andrew's day.......etc.

So, season's greetings to you all.

Merry Christmas everybody, hope this has been as good a year for y'all as it has been for me!!!
Your good wishes reciprocated in magnitude and phase.....:D
What do you think of my idea:
"I think there is a case for a "Talk About Anything" or "General Chat" that doesn't quite fit anywhere else."

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!!!

Anything that doesn't quite fit goes in the NEC forum. A general forum has been suggested and rejected many times, but don't let that put a damper on your Christmas. :)

If you had not suggested it, I would have.
There was a couple of times I was unsure where to post something.

That answers that. At least I know where to post something if I'm unsure.
I get how having a dedicated "general discussion" section that allowed ANY topic could invite controversy ;) (e.g. more work for the mods :p ).

Anyhoo,

MERRY
CHRISTMAS
EVERYONE!

Thanks and the same to you.

And, since we are a rather diverse group, I wish all of you a happy whatever you celebrate on or near the winter solstice and a great rest of the year, too.

That may be so but this holiday IS the celebration of the birth of Christ. The overwhelming significance of this holiday, when compared to all other celebrations during the same period, should not be lost on anyone. Interestingly it is the magnification of other previously minor and creation of new 'holidays' that are clearly aimed at the erosion of the importance of Christmas, I am aware of no bonafide efforts -claims notwithstanding - on behalf of Christians.

Merry Christmas everyone and may your new year bring forth new opportunities for jobs and or customers.
And may this year be a safe and fruitful year for all.

From our Family to Yours
Merry Christmas

Yes, what he said...............
May we all have a safe and joyful time with family and friends celebrating Christmas and the arrival of the new year.
