Requesting general comments on using messenger and/or festoon wiring installations in a small industrial site (500' x 500')?

The cables will contain
Low voltage (240V) power wiring
Analog signal wiring
Communications wiring
Fiber optic
Lightning protection

So far I've thought of these points:

Advantages
Cost
Flexibilty
Speed
Dry

Disadvantages
Lightning
Cranes (vehicle damage)


How do you see longevity and safety issues, any other issues?

I am not a lightning installation expert, based on your post, I do not believe that would be a good idea.
