Metal Clad Switchgear vs Arc Flash Resistant Metal Clad Switchagear

Hi All
How much more expensive would a typical Arc Flash rated switchgear be over a standard metal clad? Would it be around 1.5 times standard metal clad?

At least. But the arc-resistant switchgear will likely need to be vented outside the building somewhere and this will add significantly to the cost difference. The related ductwork required for the venting is not included in the switchgear pricing from the vendor.
