T T74 Member Location MA Feb 7, 2023 #1 Anyone have good solutions for mounting a fan box in a ceiling with metal framing. Was going to screw some wood up there and take it from there with a regular residential fan box. Not sure if anyone has any other good suggestions?

Occupation Licensed Electrician Feb 7, 2023 #3 I'd use any combination of threaded rod, nuts, beam clamps, unistrut, spring nuts, bolts, tek screws, or anything else I thought would hold up the weight until I was satisfied the fan wouldn't crash down.
