What's the best kind of box to use when installing an outlet in a kitchen island on the side of a drawer-base cabinet? Usually there is only one drawer at the top, and the rest of the cabinet is open space, so I would locate the outlet below the drawer. Problem is, the cabinets for this kitchen island are both drawer bases, with several drawers down the entire length. There is only about an inch between the side rail and the interior surface of the side of the cabinet. The box I usually use wouldn't fit here. What would you suggest, considering that I also need to run the cable in a sleeve of 3/8" flex (Greenfield)?

I put it as high as it can go and as far back as it can go, it will be above the drawer slider and the bottom of the drawer. I cut the corner off the drawer and flip it over and screw it back together.

I use these sillite receptacles---http://sillite.com/newconstruction.php

Put the receptacle somewhere else on the island? There must be some open space. Also you can use countertop top up receptacles.
