Metal rigid as support

I have used 2 metal rigid conduit post with strut between them as a support for bell box and separate conduit on rooftop receptacles in the past. I was questioned whether this would pass which it has but could not prove it was legal per nec. So now I’m asking the others to chime in.

If I picture it correctly it appears to comply with 314.23(F) if both conduits are threaded into the enclosure.

It sounds like you're saying that you used some empty conduit for support.

That's perfectly fine. It's merely galvanized pipe without wires, not conduit.

Threaded conduit as support is used for guy kits and there is the kit arlington makes too for bell boxes
