Metal stove pipe/chiminy

I was asked by someone if there were any codes or standards for grounding (for lightning protection) stove pipes extending over the house.

I don't know. Do any of you Know?

Not in the NEC. Mabe in the lightning protection code.
Of course it can be bonded if you feel it is necessary, the NEC is the minimum standard
