Metallic bonding around egc

Could someone please refresh my memory , if a egc ì run in a metallic sleeve for protection does it get bonded at one or both ends? I remember something about choke effect. I just read a job spec that called for bonding on both ends, but thought you only bonded one end to avoid the choke effect. Code article ?

EGC (equipment grounding conductor) should be run with the feeder or branch circuit conductors it goes with and never alone.

GEC (grounding electrode conductor) and bonding jumpers however may be run alone and do need to be bonded to both ends of any ferrous sleeve to reduce inductive effects.
 
A short (undefined by Code) protection or support sleeve for other than GEC's is not required to be bonded by Code.

Given your project spec' says bond on both ends, you will be held to bond on both ends.
 
Here is the code section requiring it.

250.64
(E) Raceways and Enclosures for Grounding Electrode
Conductors.
(1) General. Ferrous metal raceways and enclosures for
grounding electrode conductors shall be electrically continuous
from the point of attachment to cabinets or equipment
to the grounding electrode and shall be securely fastened
to the ground clamp or fitting. Ferrous metal
raceways and enclosures shall be bonded at each end of the
raceway or enclosure to the grounding electrode or grounding
electrode conductor.
Nonferrous metal raceways and enclosures
shall not be required to be electrically continuous.
