Metallic LB fitting

Merry Christmas

I’m using a metallic mogul type LB as part of a sleeve assembly ( LB + 6” PVC stub through bond plate into basement) for some 4/0 SER cable.

Location requires protection from physical damage due to driveway proximity and I can’t just come into the disconnect with the cable. PVC LB is too small for conductor size.

If the mogul is attached to the service disconnect ( metal enclosure) does it need a bonding bushing ?

2 attachment options.
- Rigid nipple with double locknut and bond bushing.
- PVC MTA and plastic insulating bushing.

Thanks

Does need to be bonded, Grounding locknut at panel if there are no concentric/eccentic knockouts, otherwise bond bushing
(You mentioned SER..if you have an outside disconnect..standard locknuts is fine,)
