Looking at a job that is not fully designed. Looking at thefeeder sizes and qty of sets going to the meter banks seems like overkill. 4sets of 500’s THHN in EMT gives you about 1500A. The distance is about 150’.Each meter bank serves about (15) 100A panels.

Are these feeder way over sized. If someone could help mefigure the calc I would appreciate that. I’d like to know.

Well a load calculation is the only way to know for sure, but it seems that whoever came up with the ~1500 amp feeder may have just added up the 15 100 amp panels. This method will almost certainly result in an overly large feeder.

Looks like the meter bank is 800 amps so yes 1520 amps worth of conductors seems a little excessive.
