Measurement devices are set up to the application, this is not a correct application per the device. OK MO ...

I would think that you'd need to needle for milli's from another device ...

I was using my fluke t5-600 (open jaw) to test for millivolts. apparently my meter doesn't go that low, or am i missing something?? . Anyone have a good recommendation for a millivolt meter??
If you want to measure millivolts and like Fluke stuff try their 114 DMM at the low end of the scale.

T-5 is more wiggy than O-scope. Don't even think it moves a decimal over?

Before I mention a meter - you'd have to produce an application that one would need millivolts for? There are a few, and for some of them a meter of one kind or the other is less appropriate for. There are meters out there of the bench style that have really high count rates and resolution to .00005V but run for $30K and would not last more than a few trips in a vibrating truck. Cat 1 rated at that...
