For a single family home in NYC, does con Edison allow the electric meter to be installed inside the home if it’s a smart meter? I was told on a project several years ago that it is allowed, since remote readings can now be taken with the smart meter, and a meter reader is not needed. Unfortunately I can’t find any documentation allowing this.
