Meter on house for outbuilding

Would this be compliant? There is a 200a panel in the house for the house. There is also a 200a disconnect that feeds a panel in an out building. There are two meters on the house.

I know of no requirement for the location of a meter in the NEC. So, what you are proposing sounds fine as long as the POCO has no issue.

I agree with Pete.

There is no NEC prohibition for installing a meter on the exterior of a building that supplies a separate structure.
