If i have a meter pan going to a transfer switch for a generator and than to my main panel box for home,does my main panel becomes a "sub-panel"?:?

I think your transfer switch would have to be SUSE rated ? (suitable use service equipment). So I would consider the transfer switch the first disconnect. I have been wrong before, others will chime in.

If it is a manual transfer switch (suitable for use as service equipment) and un-fused, the panel must be located imediatly adjacent thereto.
(Right beside it) and it must have a main breaker and be treated as a sub-panel.
