Hi all,
Just wanted to make sure I'm reading the electric bill correctly. If I want to figure out the highest amp draw for a particular month, I use 'demand actual' correct? In this case, it would be 15.84 KW... and at 208 volts, 3 phase, I'm calculating 44 amps. Is this correct?

I agree 44 amps..... however note this is NOT the peak amps. This is demand which is (usually) the highest 15 minute average.

Is there a way to calculate the peak amps?
Generally not from typical utility bill.
This is part of problem for sizing of a standby generator accurately as the peak demand is (usually) never available from POCO. If actual peak is needed usually need to place in a meter to read over a 30 to 90 day period that records actual loads at set minimum time intervals. The more frequent the interval, the more accurate of an actual peak load you will get.

Thanks.

Actually, with the 44 amps calculated above, I should also divide by a 0.8-ish power factor and bump it up to 55 amps... just to take into account KVA.
