There was a seller on eBay with 200a stainless steel meter sockets.

You can get stainless meter sockets from several manufacturers. I see them quite often on traffic signals.

i too haven't seen a meter on a traffic light (not saying they don't do it, just backing up LGLS' claims). i thought the poco just billed them for the power they know they're using. like billboards.

Around here (Texas) they meter billboards. I have built services for them.

i have too. we install a meter can, but the poco puts the glass in it and charges a set amount.
