There used to be a site on the internet that had scads and scads of information on and pictures of kwh meters. Anybody where it has gone or is it just gone?
I just bought a 4 pack of 200A 240V 1PH type C1S electronic KWH meters built by Itron. I was expecting to see a potential strap on the back that would allow me to disconnect the potential coil for metering based on time. The original use of such a strap was to allow phantom loads to be used during meter testing.
I opened one up and found mostly air, a display, a couple of ICs, two PC boards and a couple of turns on the primary of each legs current transformer.
Any help appreciated!
