I am installing a two meter for two dweling units and need to know if I need to install a 200 amp wire from the meeter to the wheater heads on top of the riser for PGE hook upAre you talking about the conductors on the utility side of the meters, between the meters and panels, or both? Also are these serving dwelling units?
That wiring is sized based the load calculations for the two occupancies.I am installing a two meter for two dweling units and need to know if I need to install a 200 amp wire from the meeter to the wheater heads on top of the riser for PGE hook up

Pretty standard around here to just do a 200 amp service, 2' pvc, 4/0 alum, or SEU cable. I have seen many older services for 2 family with 1 1/2" conduit and copper conductors sized for 150 amp services but that is not common today.I am installing a two meter for two dweling units and need to know if I need to install a 200 amp wire from the meeter to the wheater heads on top of the riser for PGE hook up
