I need to bond a #4 to a structural I-beam. Cadweld
would likely set off the smoke detector and I'm not sure if It's covered with
plastic whether that might also cause it to alarm. BTW, make sure you
have a good filter on your shop vac when cleaning up the dust from drilling
drop-in anchors anywhere near a smoke detector. I learned the hard way. LOL!
I don't want to drill the beam so an approved clamp is the best solution.
Any product recommendations would be appreciated.

If it's new construction, the smoke detectors are supposed to remain covered until the final inspection. For additions or renovations someone should have contacted the company that has the test and inspection contract to disable the detector(s) in the work area.

Any fine dust can activate a smoke detector, especially ones on conventional panels. Higher end detectors have algorithms that combine obscuration and temperature profiles to determine if there is an actual fire or not.

and if you are doing just the CADWELD for some reason you can utilize two options. First and best is to cover the nearby smoke detector(s) during the operation and call the fire alarm monitoring company and have the system put on standby for an hour. Second call the company and have the system put on standby and live with the possibility of the smoke detector going off. I actually think it is not very likely from one CADWELD. You could mitigate the possibility by blowing a fan on the location to dissipate the smoke.

if you need an irrevocable connection, you need cadweld or hypress.
however, you need a 12 ton hypress and the correct die.
what are the specs?

now, burndy makes a mechanical irreversible ground to go to building steel.
you tighten till it shears. can't take it off.

Looks like you and him could run your motorcycle to drive a generator on a dyno to power LED light bulbs to create electricity using PV and let it run until the motorcycle snuffs out.
