Meyers Hub water tight

Can u use pvc adapter on a Meyers hub. Some say no others say there is a Meyers hub that accept pvc. Thanks

Although Meyers hubs are often used with PVC male adapters, Meyers hubs are intended to be used with tapered male threads. I have yet to hear of a violation.
You could use a nipple and female adapter.

I think what he is saying is that since the hub will not take pvc just install a rigid nipple and then convert to pvc with a female pvc adapter. That is a pvc coupling with threads in one end of the coupling

A minor note: it's a Myers hub, not Meyers, but puppies & kittens will still be born blind either way you spell it.

nipple with lock nut on it.

NPT is made to screw it until it stops to make the tapered threads seal. Stop turning early and use a locknut to secure connection means not water tight.
