Don't have full story but from what I got.....
MI cable being pulled in a new construction building that's not fully closed(GC can't close it in) in. Guys worried about moisture build up due to cold and amp weather. They said they're putting rubber caps on each cable to control moisture...not sure what that means.

Do do you think their worried about the actual cable getting moist or the ends? In any case, if you know what I'm trying to describe is anything else that could be done to the cable to help control moisture on the cable? Thanks

Mi cable is rated for wet location so I am not sure what the issue is here

The magnesium oxide insulation absorbs moisture through open ends which can cause it to fail testing.

So obviously it's the cable ends that's of concern hence why they said they were using rubber caps. Any other safeguard? Thanks

Exactly, it would be open ends that are the issue.
