I am getting ready to take my journeyman test in the state of Michigan. Should I be studying so hard on the calculations, or should I concentrate elsewhere?
CALC'S-practice, practice, practice. And learn how to find things as quickly as possible in the book. And watch out for tricks. IMHO answer the ??? you can, do your best on the others but mark to spend more time on if you have it

In Michigan you are supposed to have attended 800 hours of schooling directly related the trade. What does the teacher suggest you do? Your teacher should have feedback from his or her former students as to what is being put on the test.
Also, make sure you know what you can and can't bring into the test session, they enforce the rules very strictly.
