Mike Holt Estimating Book

I have purchased some estimating software and seem to like it. Probably a stupid question but......would I still benefit buying and reading the Mike Holt estimating book even though I am using estimating software?

Ive just begun to read it and there is a ton of information in there and I think its a great book. I definently dont think its gonna hurt anything and im sure it can teach you a few things as well. You can never know to much

It is worth the money. Mike cuts right to the chase with this line,"you are in the electrical contracting business to make money". I also have the book, but haven't been able to spend much time with it lately, but what I have read is good enough to know that it is money well spent. Next for me, the MH DVD set to learn even more. My ultimate goal when I can is to buy all of his DVD sets for the books I have. I wish Mike Holt enterprises had a satellite branch in California, as I would love to attend one of his seminars. Another future goal.
