mike holts estimating

at school were learning mike holts way of estimating from his book and dvd. how many people here use that method and is it a good way of doing it? its probably going to be the way ill do business. he was asking the people if they were ever guilty of the price they give. i admit i feel guilty when giving a price to somebody so i always try to lower it. anyone here feel or have felt the same way? im sure once i finish the book ill feel better
