I need to do a service for my friend on his 3 family home. I have done many services but no multifamily. Currently he has 2 100a services. One also supplies a sub panel to the basement apartment. He wants to change to 2 200a services for future hvac upgrades to all the apartments. I am not sure how to size the main feed. Currently the sec comes down and feeds both pans. Do I have to add another pan for the basement appartment and if so what size wire should I use coming down to feed all 3 pans or 2 which ever i can do. Also do I need to have pseg upsize the line coming in.

if he doesn't live there himself,he may need four meters.one for each apt.,and one to serve common area(hallways,outside lighting,common areas in cellar,etc.)also doing the calcs for multi-family is pretty easy.
