We have recently upgraded our crimpers at our facility and have been trying to find the best lugs to use with them.
We use mostly #8-373 DLO cable and we use Burndy YAV-FX series lugs rated for use on DLO cable.
The issue we are having is that wings are being left on the sides of the lugs after crimping. The dies we are using match Burndy's Die Chart for this lug.
Is this normal for this style of Crimper?
