Got my first crimper and was wondering if the bg crimp bay was capable of crimping a #2 alum wire in a insulated blackburn or do i need a die in the d3
Your talking about the red sleeve splice I assume.Got my first crimper and was wondering if the bg crimp bay was capable of crimping a #2 alum wire in a insulated blackburn or do i need a die in the d3
We have about all the dies, but for the most part 4 would be about any man needs. The 840 being one.In case anyone is not aware of this: If you get the 840 die for that crimper (W style, goes in the D3 slot) you can get "common die series" lugs and crimp #6 thru 350 with that one die. For example blackburn SAKM series. Page 23 here:
For H taps that accept larger gauges of conductor like 2/0 and up. Just for example. What do you use the D for?
So im using a blackburn h style it requires a "0" die what is the milwaukee equivalent for the w style dies
Thats for 350
I dont follow, you asked for O die, isnt that an O die?Thats for 350
Its a wr189 for #2I dont follow, you asked for O die, isnt that an O die?
I didn’t think a die for 350 was available for a hand crimp tool.So the "0" die is for crimping 2 #2s in an h style crimp and also for a single crimp of 350 kcmil?
