Mini Split wiring

Hi,
My office just installed a mini split for out network lab. The ac guy installed the inside and outside units and ran the wire and piping between the two.
He installed a vinyl raceway on the outside of the building.
I am pulling a 10/3 mc from the electrical panel to the unit.
My questions are this:
1. Is it ok to run the mc outside in the vinyl raceway? I would think not.
2. Should install a junction box in the building above the unit and run my mc to that and liquid tight or nmc from there out and into the vinyl raceway and to the disconnect?
I don't have the option of drilling out through wall and brick to the back of the disconnect directly. I need to feed through the same raceway to the disconnect and then to the condenser.

All input welcome.

Thanks. I'm going to place a junction box above drop ceiling and run the mc to it, strip off about 12' of jacket, run liquidtight out from the box to the disconnect and use a pre wires whip from the disconnect to the condenser. This will look nice.

Thanks for your input.

Already answered --mc is suitable for outdoors 330.10
Looking at my 2011 code book I see:

330.10A3 "indoors or outdoors"
330.10A11 "In wet locations where any of the following conditions are met . . . "

Two questions:
What is OUTDOORS?
If I buy a roll of 12-2 MC cable at HD --will it be suitable for wet locations?

I don't use mc but it appears it is rated wet location. I know some of it can be installed underground but it must be listed for that. Not all mc cable can be used ug.
