Minimum circuit ampacities

Anyone got any diagrams showing how to properly size conductors based on MCA and Max OCP for RTU's? As well as for motors? I thought Mike Holt had some out before but can't find them. Trying to teach some younger guys and feel illustrated diagrams might be the best way. Thanks.

It is easy to remember "Wire size to the min. circuit amp and OCP to the Max. circuit amp."

I think the best thing to do is go out and take some pictures of a few motor nameplates and A/C equipment nameplates and work out the calculations together citing each of the individual code sections.

When all is said and done they will see how the above statement made by acrwc10 works everytime.

There may also be some calculations worked out in Annex D that may be of assistance.
