What is the Minimum interrupting ratings for a circuit breaker and for a fuse, and where is this found in the code

I'm not sure I understand the question. Start with the "standard size" values in 240.6(A), and let us know if that has what you need.

A coworker came to me with this question that he had on his journeymans test . I told him to look at 240.60 (c) for fuses and 240.83 (c) for circuit breaker ratings but i understand the values in these articles are the maximums for each.

Are you asking about the requirements of 110.9? If you are you will have to do an avaliable short circuit ampacity calculation to find the minimum interrupting rating for the overcurrent protective devices.
