Hello all. Is there a minimum that liquidtight can be ran ? I need a nipple into VFD and was checking if there is a code minimum length it can be. Thanks in advance.
No NEC minimum requirement that I am aware of. Probably only customer specs if applicable.Hello all. Is there a minimum that liquidtight can be ran ? I need a nipple into VFD and was checking if there is a code minimum length it can be. Thanks in advance.
I believe that is only when you are using the LFMC as a equipment grounding conductor.I've only ever heard of a maximum, which I recall is 72 inches (6 feet/1.8 meters).
Yes, you are absolutely correct. I found a NEMA bulletin that summarizes the requirements. It was issued in 2006, but they reaffirmed it in 2019.I believe that is only when you are using the LFMC as a equipment grounding conductor.
