I'm calculating a service for a non-dwelling one room unit with lots of electronic equipment in it. Anyway 95% of the entire load well be single phase 240vac. I am trying to calculate the neutral wire. With the unbalcanced load being so small I came up with 6160VA. This includes mostly plug-in equipment with a few other receptacle outlets. This includes 140% increase. Do I really size the neutral for this or is there some minimun size?

Thanks this type of sizing-service-conductors by load is kinda new to me.

Look at 230.31(C) & 250.24

(sorry Bob, I think you can post these off the top of your head while I'm searching :) )

No smaller then the GEC for whatever size service conductors you are running

250.24(C)(1)

And no smaller than the calculated load whichever is greater. But you knew that.
